Twister: A huge storm system is sweeping across the mid west. Two sets of scientists, the leaders with a history of conflict, are both trying to be the first one to get sophisticated scientific data from a monster sized tornado. To get these readings, they must launch a device inside the storm that will then give off valuable reading to study these powerful weather conditions. This means getting dangerously close to these dangerous tornados.
The Senator Was Indiscreet: Humor-playwright Kaufman’s only directorial fling turns out relatively well, with Powell as Senator whose notebook causes embarrassment. Cast includes William Powell, Ella Raines, Peter Lind Hayes, Arleen Whelan, Ray Collins, and Hans Conried. (147 minutes, 1974)

Back in New York, an Irish American cop has taken a young Irish man immigrating to the US into his home to be part of the family. He knows little of the man’s past, and nothing of the reasons for his coming to America. Once he learns that he has an IRA terrorist in his midst, he must hunt him down, to stop him from his appointed task.
After the Sunset: Master robber Brosnan and seductive accomplice Hayek flee to a sun-drenched heaven after lugging one very last diamond heist, however FBI representative Harrelson who’s been hindered by Brosnan before tracks them down, desiring reprisal-and wishing to stop another theft.
