It Takes 2: Surprisingly well-wrought comedy for babies in reference to look-alikes who trade places in request to help each other. The fabulously prosperous gal has a dad who’s getting ready to wed a patently terrible lady, when the orphan is getting ready to lose her best buddy, the communal employee who watches the orphanage. The doubles give extremely likable performances, as do their adult costars. Addicted to Love: This movie is a dark comedy which where we see an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their former partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of revenge for her former man. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)

Scott’s performance is a journey de force from his first minute on-monitor, and he’s in fine company with his self-promised girl costars. Candyman: Helen Lyle is a University of Illinois student looking for ideas for her thesis on urban legends.. She becomes interested in the Candyman legend. Candyman was a son of slaves who died at the hand of a hired gang sent to kill him because he got a girl pregnant. They set angry bees loose on him, and then was burnt to death. The legend states that if you say his name 5 times in front of a mirror, Candyman comes to life. Candyman does appear, and Helen finds herself in big trouble.
Genealogies of a Crime: Deneuve is beaming in a twin role as the barrister for and sufferer of a strange youthful gentleman who’s implicated of killing his psychiatrist mothers sibling once she supposedly subjected him to drastic mind-command remedies. Well-performed although conceited, deliberately perplexing blend of puzzle, satire, and surrealism; hoaxed up with pointless flashbacks within flashbacks and other narrative and graphic gimmicks. Cast includes Catherine Deneuve, Michel Piccoli, Melvil Poupaud, Andrzej Seweryn, and Bernadette LaFont. (114 minutes, 1997)
